Happy birthday to Grammy Tanda—my loving wife and best friend. I admire so many things about Tanda: her talents for writing and teaching, her spiritual strength and contagious enthusiasm… She is a wonderful wife, mother, and Grammy!
We did indeed have a lovely Thanksgiving. All of my children and grandchildren were able to come. My tween granddaughters spent Wednesday night with me, and they were great help setting the tables. I have a big box of silk autumn leaves, miniature pumpkins, etc., and I let them create centerpieces. They did a great job! One thing our Thanksgiving tradition does not include is television. No one even turned on the TV until 7 p.m. We have too much fun with each other!
