My mom is like a second mom to my grandkids. Must be a family trait since I feel the same way about my mom's mom. We all had kids when we were young. I think we kind of grow up with our own kids, then we become a kid again when we have grandkids. They are so much fun, but I am not totally responsible for their care. I'm not the one getting up at 3 a.m. for feeding, or saying no to a girl's night out because I have a sick baby, etc. Grandkids are the joy in a grandmother's life at any age!
