About Shayne & Tanda

Welcome to GrandparentsTLC.com. We are Shayne and Tanda Packer. We’re sure you feel as we do, that grandparenting is GRAND! We have 5 wonderful children, 3 girls and 2 boys. They’re all grown up now. The girls all decided to get married in the same (expensive) year! Then came the year of the 3 grandsons! Now we have 10 grandchildren, 3 girls and 7 boys.

Our grandchildren, as you might have guessed, are the delight of our lives. We have grandkids in every time zone of the United States, and only two lives nearby. This creates a great longing to spend as much time together as possible, even if it’s through mail, or technology such as the telephone, videophone, and the Internet.

Shayne Packer (Grandpa Shayne) has been involved in computers and technology since 1980, and has a degree in Computer Science.

Tanda Packer (Grammy Tanda) has a degree in Home Economics Education, and has been teaching high school since 1988.
